Worst experience I've had in any Saltgrass restaurant. After 3 attemps to get my husband's steak cooked correctly we gave up. After being told (we did not ask) 3 times they were sorry for the inconvenience and we would be taken care of nothing was offered to compensate the inconvenience from this. We will not visit the Baytown location again !

Our server was just as excellent as the food! I believe his name was Abraham and he said his mom was the one making the deserts. Everything was phenomenal.

The food was terrible, my Ribeye was overcooked, my wife's chicken fried steak was soggy, our waitress acted mad that we complained about our food being terrible, I ate 1 bite of my meal and my wife didn't even take a bite. My wife has a little temper when she fills disrespected, so to avoid any issues, I just paid the bill and left. Of course, I caught hell for paying. But I also know she was about to get sideways with our server for her attitude. I mean, really, lady You brought Us out trash food. You lost a good customer, as we eat out a lot and if our food is good and service is good we tip 25 percent minimum everywhere we go. This was the first time we ate at this particular Saltgrass as we were in the area. We will stick to our own Saltgrass from now on. Do better. We understand people have bad days, but at least when you have friendly customers and their food is not right, don't get attitude and just make it right. I mean, we are paying for it to be right. But heck, I even paid for it to be trash. Some would say stupid me for paying. But I did yall a favor. My wife is the kindest, most given woman you can meet. But make her feel disrespected or basically F U. A Texas tornado is about to hit. So, to the waitress who served US and had the attitude, YOU ARE very WELCOME for the fact I took her out of there.

Its Saltgrass. Usually consistent. Server quality can drastically differ from trip to trip. This locations bread is very light colored and different than other locations not sure how I feel about it. I come here just for the Brussels sprouts, they are phenomenal. The homemade ranch is delicious too, I always get a side of ranch with the bread and dip my bread in it. Weird, I know. Some of the lunch specials arent a bad deal cost wise but adding a salad was supposed to cost $2.99 per the menu and they charged me $3.99; its $1 but I dont like when the menu and bill dont match up. Pats ribeye lunch is usually my fav but I ventured out and tried the ground beef steak and its so good as well the side of sauce with it and tried the chicken fried chicken which is delicious also. I e gotten the steak kabob lunch a few times and the rice it comes with us so delicious but the steak bites are never cooked to the correct requested temperature so Ive given up ordering that. My hubs like the ground beef steak with the cheese and tomatoes on top and he loves their sweet potato fries, he almost always gets them. I didnt like the loaded mashed potatoes, they were dry and lacking flavor - I wont get those again. The regular mashed are creamy and silky and delicious though. The homemade croutons are so amazing and I dont like crotons usually. We came in to try happy hour. So glad we did! The happy hour drink specials are great and the half priced appetizers during happy hour is a great selection. We had the shrimp cocktail which had ginormous delicious shrimp with a homemade tasting cocktail sauce and some really fresh pico in the middle. So good! Dip your shrimp and put the pico on top and yummmm. We had the rattlers, I dont like them, I dont like the canned jalapeos- use fresh jalapeos and it would be phenomenal - I wouldnt get those again. The steak bites were over cooked per our order - I would never try to order these again after the appetizer and the lunch steak bites being so bad and the onions they sit on were so oily. Yall, the crab cakes though..OH EM GEE, they are stellar! Large and full of crab, lump cake an on top, the sauce is so good on them, ask for extra. I will be back very shortly for more of those, the shrimp cocktail, and the crab stack! As far as drinks. I get the well liquors and tonic or once I got the Texas Tea $7 cocktail and it was very refreshing but not going to get you tipsy. Today the bread was the normal color and taste, it was great.
