BEWARE!!!!!!! Had my well pump replaced in Feb 21 by Glass Well. They added a pump saver and new control box also. My previous pump was 17 years and had no pump saver. Then In June 22 the pump got so hot that it welded itself to the casing. Im guessing they didnt lower the pump deep enough to account for the drought and it ran dry and they botched the pump saver install somehow because that should have stopped the pump from running. My previous well pump made it through plenty of droughts with no issue even though it never had a pump saver. I understand sometimes mistakes happen but this cost me $40k for a new well. They have been dodging responsibility for this. Id call around for a different Well Company. Service: Pump installation

We hired Glass to solve a problem we were having with our new irregation system. Every several days some of the filters on our sprinkler heads would clog with a brown substamce coming from our well water. Garrett and a helper came out and sold us on replacing the pump, wiring, galvanized connectors holding the pvc pipe together, an alarm to protect the pump and a new pressure tank that was not serviceable. They further recommended that we install in a secure nd phase a storage tank and related equipment to solve the sediment and smell issues we were having. Another team came out to install the first phase of the project but over the weekend we ran out of water. Our kennel business cannot keep its doors open without a substantial amount of water on a daily basis. We called Glass on Monday morning and they sent Garrett and his helper back out that afternoon. After arriving and disappearing into the well house they asked us to come out. Upon arriving at the well house Garrett thrust an electronic display in front of us and said See here? Well 1, 2 and 3 are dry. When I told him Buda is in a Phase 1 drought, we had lived here 22 years and our well had never coughed despite going through several Phase 3 droughts, his helper said yea, but you didnt have near the number of wells around you now! After both of us restated our positions numerous times I lost it and threw them off my property. They never would admit that the number of new wells in the area has no bearing on my wells status as it had never been phased even with a Stage 3 drought. We called the Well Doctor and they were at our place within an hour and quickly diagnosed the problem. Glasss installation crew did not recalibrate the new well alarm or the new pressure tank, hence causing the well to shut off. Had Mr. Stevens took ownership, apologized and offered to pay for the Well Dr.s invoice I would not have been as severe in this review but I think all the consumers out there need to be aware how easy it is for dishonest people to take your $.
