John David was amazing! Kind, professional and quick turnaround, he was amazing during our session. We had an issue where we had our original photographer fell through. Luckily John David saved the day. His level of professionalism is unmatched and we havent stopped getting compliments on our shoot!

JD is truly the best of the best in Austin, Texas! We first met JD when he took our engagement photos. He made my husband & I feel so comfortable & it felt like he was a friend we had known forever! Our engagement pictures came out beautifully. He shot our wedding on 2/3/23, and we were just blown away at the time and dedication he put in. We got so many compliments from our guests letting us know our photographer was great and was capturing every single shot! And he really did. Im so happy we had the chance to work with JD & wed do it all over again. Thanks so much JD! Were forever thankful and grateful for you!

First and foremost, JD is an artist and his collection of work is truly fine art. When I worked in the wedding industry, I would frequently recommend JD to my clients because of his personality and aesthetic. I'd tell my couples that there are many wonderful photographers out there, but choosing a photographer that you vibe with, is kind to your wedding party, and isn't a diva is IMPORTANT! 6 years later and it's finally my turn to hire JD for my engagement shoot and our destination wedding in New Orleans, and while I knew he would knock it out of the park, he far exceeded my hopes and dreams. JD made us feel so comfortable during our engagement shoot which prepped us well for wedding photos since we are totally not PDA people. JD's collection of timeless photos from our wedding day tells an incredibly beautiful story that we'll fondly look back on for many years to come. He captured so much emotion in his "documentary" style of shooting - it leaves you feeling you glad you didn't spend money on a videographer. Everyone in our family and wedding party RAVED about JD and they hadn't even seen the photos yet! He was calm and efficient and was excellent at giving direction in a very kind and respectful way. He handled the hustle and bustle of an entire wedding weekend all while having a God-given eye for finding the best light in any venue you throw him in. We are so so so over the moon with how wonderful it was to work with JD! It was truly an honor to have him photograph our wedding. Everyone needs to hire him. Thank you, JD!

JD is genuinely one in a million! We discovered him through a friend who hired him for her wedding. He knocked it out of the park with her photos (along with his flexibility / professionalism on her wedding day) and we knew we needed to hire him for ourselves. Thankfully, JD was flexible and gracious with traveling to NYC for our wedding :) He is so efficient, knowledgeable, talented, and personable. He truly made our wedding day the most enjoyable and now we have the most stunning photos to last a lifetime. Can't thank or recommend JD enough!!!

JD did an amazing job photographing our wedding in Austin. The pictures turned out beautifully, and we are so thankful we have them to look back and remember the details of our wedding day. His turnaround time was also very quick! He was so kind and patient throughout the day, and we couldn't have asked for a better photographer.
