We hired Quick Dry for water damage remediation after a water pipe on our neighbors side burst, flooding our living room area. We did not use their services for restoration so can not comment on that aspect. The pipe burst over Christmas weekend when the entire area went through a freeze, so when we were looking for a company to hire, most places we called were either fully booked out or accepting people on wait lists only. This is an incredibly stressful situation to be in, with concerns of mold. When we called Quick Dry, they were able to dispatch Johnny the same day to evaluate the situation at our place. He was professional, thoughtful, and did a good job of both explaining what work is needed and soothing our concerns. He took photos and moisture readings, made them available for both us and our insurance. We signed a contract with QD the same day, and despite the high demand for their services (and shortage of equipment in the entire austin area) they were able to drop off fans and dehumidifiers two days later. Note that at this time, it was literally impossible find fans or dehumidifiers at Lowes & Home Depot because they were completely sold out. Staff came by for daily moisture readings until moisture dropped to an acceptable level. Within another week, they came in to do the demo. The staff for demo were on time and communicative. They were helpful in terms of explaining whats going on and what they are seeing. And did a great job with the demo. Id give the demo experience 4/5 I did not realize how much dust there would be in the house and would appreciate more thorough protection of our furniture & appliances. We were left with a layer of dust on everything, I suspect the staff removed the protection before the dust settled. With all constraints in mind, this was not the end of the world, but seems simple enough to avoid. Throughout this process Johnny was our main contact. He is an all around great & honest guy. Would definitely work with him again if we run into water damage. In the end QD was able to get nearly the entire demo covered through our insurance without us lifting a finger. We had to pay a $171 fee to QD for mitigation labor that our insurance did not cover we were not interested in going back and forth on this, but it seems like a quick win for QD if they either deducted this from the bill or sought payment from insurance, as its a drop in the bucket for a $9k remediation bill. Overall if we need water damage remediation we would definitely work with QD (and Johnny!) again. We got the restoration work done elsewhere after getting quotes from several contractors.

Contents team did a perfect job. They treated our belongings like they were their owns. Pack out was done in under 4 hours! Once pack out complete, the demo team (Juan, Sherrod & Viane) did an excellent job. All damaged surfaces were removed/treated. On top of that, team was really friendly! Edit: pack out team review did not change - We had to call Quick Dry for a warranty issue on the restoration work that was done. Its been a battle since January and we still havent heard from them (about a dozen of phone calls later) Floor restoration work was (and still is) an epic fail. Edit 2: May 2023 - still havent heard from QuickDry management. Project manager ghosted us too.

Terrible experience! received a bait and switch from the representative who showed up and quoted me one price and then billed me a way higher price. $600 higher than what he promised he was charging me. See yelp reviews, I'm not the only one.

Shady employees with deceptive practices. I would never use this company again. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere!
