I started using Fritz two years ago. I had some back taxes I needed to figure out. He helped me get everything strait and gave me great guidance. He charged me a fare price and did all the heavy lifting. He was not judgmental of my issues and helped me resolve them. This was so important. I have continued to use him and I will be using him from here on out. I have also refers him to so many people. The only reason I gave a 4 star was for communication. Some times the communication is slow, but the work is always done with pride and professionally. This makes up for it in my mind. You would be silly to use anyone else.

I've used Fritz as my personal and business tax accountant since 2000. At one point I did a crazy thing and left him, the bill from my new tax accountant doubled! I called Fritz back and he said, "Your new accountant must be very proud of his work!” I then came back to Fritz. The thing I like most about Fritz is that he's interested in me as a client, I'm not just a number. The thing I like the second most is his commitment to saving me money on my taxes - I know this because of the in-depth questions he asks about my business. Recently, although the date had passed to set up an IRA, he guided me through the process of setting up a SEP account by October 15th so that I could put away some retirement savings and reduce my tax bill significantly.

I received a notice from the IRS that I had additional income tax due of $7,318 plus penalties and interest for a 1099-MISC that was not reported on the return that H&R Block prepared. Fritz was able to amend the return and the additional tax was half of what the IRS notice said we owed.
