        Utterly dehumanizing experience. No notice about needing to call in to make an appointment. They place you on hold on a phone and make you stand in a hallway right outside their office. Once you get the "appointment" and are allowed in, they just shove papers and forms at you and refuse to answer any questions in person and tell you to go outside and call again and make an appointment for each new question. Horrible experience.

        I had some issues closing out my LLC including some tax questions. They not only walked me through my paperwork, they closed out the entire process and gave me the needed letter to send to the SOS to close out the LLC. Very organized, efficient, and organized. This is how government should always work. Excellent group!

        It would be much easier if they didn't insist upon using a p.o. box for mailing. It makes shipping a nightmare. You have no alternative but to resort to the postal service. No FedEx or UPS....

        Was ending a Franchise and had no idea how to go about it! Everyone I talked to at the Comptroller of Public Accounts was more than friendly in helping me out. They explained what I needed in easy terms. Told me what papers I needed to fill out etc... They turned a terrifying experience into something pleasant.
