We have used D&R on a few Home projects and plan to use them more in the future. Here's why we like them...... We wanted to know and trust the people we hire. Based on the time we spent together on 2 projects, we trust Diego and Raquel's opinions and know that they will deliver quality results. We did not know exactly what we wanted to do for our last project. Diego and Raquel listened to our needs and helped us decide on the best solutions that also stayed within our budget. D&R provides quality work, and are local, timely, and good people. We highly recommend D&R and will use them again for other projects.

Our biggest concerns about hiring a contractor were the cost and time needed to complete our project to our satisfaction. The project was done at a reasonable price and within the time frame agreed upon. This is rare nowadays in my opinion. The top benefits of working with D&R were that the quality of the work was excellent, and the communication was very good. Other benefits: Friendly service, on-time arrival, clean workspace. We would highly recommend working with D&R for a job well done, on time, by friendly polite workmen, with excellent work skills.

We are happy to recommend D&R Custom Remodeling. We found them while interviewing contractors for our kitchen remodel. We had contacted larger design/build contractors, but most were only interested in a total gut and renovation, and not willing to work around any existing features and fixtures. We wanted to greatly upgrade and improve our kitchen from the floors on up but wanted to keep a portion of the existing cabinetry and high-end appliances in place to keep unnecessary costs in check. D&R was willing to work collaboratively and problem-solve issues in the project's design. A special remodeling project like ours is more difficult than a total demo and replacement project. Diego and Raquel rose to the occasion. They were a one-stop shop for us, which we wanted, and coordinated all the purchasing and work of any subcontractors. They removed tile floors and replaced them with wood floors to make a continuous flow from our great room, completely replaced the existing island and lower wall cabinets with new cabinetry and quartz countertops and backsplash, and built a large custom utility/appliance cabinet (for microwave, espresso maker, blender and storage) to match existing upper, refrigerator, and wall oven cabinets. They replaced the cooktop and downdraft (including problematic ducting), sink, and disposal, as well as moved and replaced ceiling lighting. They arranged for subcontractors to refinish existing wood floors throughout the first floor, replace the large windows in the kitchen and great room, and supervise the work to their exacting standards. In addition, they created paneling for our 2-story fireplace and removed a second staircase, which they replaced with a beverage center. All electrical, plumbing, and carpentry were done by Diego. Throughout the process - design, demolition, and construction - they communicated well, were flexible, and worked in partnership with us. Diego has great attention to detail, has high standards, and takes pride in craftsmanship. He and his crew showed up punctually every day and problem-solved and coordinated with their subs and vendors to keep things moving along. It was great to only ever make one call with questions or issues - Diego personally handled everything. Any hesitation we had for working with a small family-owned business for our major remodeling project was put to rest. They are conscientious and stand behind the product and work of their subs, who are carefully selected, vetted, and approved. We are sure their personal interest in our satisfaction with the results was superior to anything we could have found with larger contractors. We would not hesitate to work with D&R Custom Remodeling in the future and recommend them for your project. Step 2:

Our house was built in 1975 and the kitchen showed it. We had been talking about bringing the kitchen into the 21st century and felt like we needed a miracle to achieve our dream. We looked around and discovered D&R Custom Remodeling. After meeting Diego and Raquel, we knew that we found the right team for our project. With Raquels insight of design and Diegos meticulous method of craftsmanship our objective was met beyond all of our expectations. The quality of their work was second to none. They treated us like family and guided us through this unforeseen journey that we had embarked upon. Taking such a bold move was kind of scary but they assured us that the outcome would be well worth it, and it was. When they scheduled to be here, they were always on time and prepared to take on the task at hand for the day. We would highly recommend D&R Custom Remodeling and would definitely hire them on all of our future projects.

We had never done a bathroom remodeling project before, and we wanted someone who had our best interest at heart to guide us through the process. We were nervous about all the details that went into constructing a high quality shower and bath that would last. D&R Custom Remodeling came in and did an EXCELLENT JOB of communicating with us and laying out each step of the process. They went the extra mile to make sure that the job was done correctly and looked beautiful. D&R Custom Remodeling was consistent in showing up each day until the job was done. We never felt like our project was "taking a back seat" for other projects. Diego, the company owner, was always present on site if subcontractors were needed. They were considerate, neat and tidy and very kind in all their communications and work. By the end of the project, we felt like family! We would definitely recommend D&R Custom Remodeling services.
