CPK needs to figure out a balance between paying servers more and losing business. Ill come back and edit this to give more details, but there was one server in the whole restaurant. The guy at the front kept telling everyone 20 minutes as the wait time while we sat there at the front of the line having waited much longer, and knowing there were 6+ groups ahead of them on the wait list. They also have no way to let you know when a table is ready, so they told people: IDK, just come back in 10 minutes and check. It took us over 2 hours to get seated and eat. We had to ask for things 5-6 times. Everything was self serve: You want salt and pepper? Better hoof it around the restaurant to find it. There was only one salt shaker in the whole place, and we found it, but then another table across the restaurant came and asked us for it after they did several laps. When we left we saw more in a drawer at a hostess stand at the back of the restaurant near the patio. Wild. Anyway, food was awful, service was non-existent, and we couldnt even get the few things we were able to order because after asking for the right things 5+ times, we gave up. Honestly shocking. Also, they now cut the veggies in the Thai Crunch salad so thin it was soggy AF. No crispy rice noodles or peanut sauce either. And the portion size is what a half used to be, but its considered a full. Pic below. You might see the two in a bowl soup option and think: How can you have two soups in one bowl?! Wont they mix together? Not at CPK! The soup is so thick its like pudding. Imagine those taverns in ancient times that had a cauldron of soup going for 42 years? Thats where I imagine they got this soup from. It was so thick and actually jiggled a little. Pic below. See how the soup doesntflow back to fill the bowl when you take a spoonful out? Bizarre
