If you are looking for an Orthodontist in the Austin area, look no further. Dr. Owen and his team are fantastic. The past few years I had struggled with worsening TMJ and had tried almost every treatment imaginable (night guards, botox injections, laser therapy, occlusal adjustment, etc.) and nothing had worked. Fortunately, I found Dr. Owen and was treated with his customized braces (which are amazing!) and my treatment was even shorter than expected. I had pain relief within the first month and I am so pleased with the results. Dr. Owen is kind, honest, gentle, and an absolute expert in orthodontic treatment. Shannon at the front desk is also wonderful and very responsive. I couldn't be happier with my experience here!

I had a TMJ problem that Dr Owen examined using state of the art 3D imaging and relieved to find out my issue wasn't severe. Dr. Owen thoroughly explained my issue, what to do, and a course of action that didn't take up a lot of time or money. Great Dr. and impressive office.

I'm in my 50's and was entertaining getting braces but didn't want to go the metal-mouth route. I ran into a friend that had gotten clear braces from Dr. Owen and they gave him a glowing review. I set up an appointment, took the plunge and just got my braces off 10 months after getting them on. The whole experience was about as good as you could expect when getting braces. Dr. Owen is an artist when it comes to your teeth. His focus on the final result will leave you happy with your decision. Highly recommended.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Owen and his team. My TMJ had advanced to the point of not being able to fully open my mouth for 10 months. I tried botox, a soft diet, muscle relaxers, and a new bite guard from my dentist-- all with no results. I still couldn't fully open my mouth. I was eventually told by a maxillofacial doctor that I may need surgery, but my insurance wouldn't cover it. I called a minimum of 12 different ENTs and other providers in the area. All of them told me they don't offer treatment for TMJ, even though their websites stated the opposite. Thankfully, I found Dr. Owen. He made me a specialized bite guard (that he invented) that has helped me regain mobility and flexibility in my jaw again--- all without surgery. In fact, I could already tell a big difference just after the first visit. After suffering for 10 months, I'm back on track again with a full range of motion and little to no pain.

Phenomenal experience! Dr. Owen is the Michael Jordan of Orthodontists, as well as one of the top TMJ specialists in the nation. Just got my braces off and intend to bring my kids here. 5 stars !!
