The front desk staff was great, but the rest of my visit not so much. The assistant didn't introduce himself, and the exam room we went to was honestly a little creepy...it looked a bit dated. It had this huge chain hook dangling from the ceiling, as well as old air vents that were extremely loud. Now given my personal medical situation was very unique, I went into the visit with no expectations that an oral surgeon would certainly be able to help me. Which of course, it turned out they couldn't, and that's alright. I just didn't love the doctor's bedside manner, and the fact that he prodded a painful area I specifically asked him not to touch. He did, however, offer next steps and didn't charge for the consultation, which I thought was very generous and the reason for 3 stars instead of less. Overall, I'd suggest trying a different location first; I had a wonderful experience at the Georgetown location in particular.

Good surgeon, good operating but awful billing department. They had said up front multiple times that I only owe them two payments -- a deposit after the consultation and a second payment day of surgery -- nothing more, nothing less. Come months later after I've paid, arrives a bill saying I have owed them more money, when I called thinking it was a mistake they had then told me the amount on the bill was incorrect and the actual amount was doubled that. They refuse to hear me out on how I was told that I only had to pay two amounts and nothing more and they're truly so unprofessional with how they handle their finances. The website boasts about how there is no sneak-up fees but quite frankly I've seen the opposite. I would've been much happier if they had disclosed this other amount before my surgery but they waited til after my procedure to charge me with more money. Don't waste your time here if you're looking for affordable care, all they seem to do is milk money out of you.

This has been the most exhausting and painful recovery I have experienced. I am almost 12 days post operation from a wisdom teeth extraction and have encountered dry socket. When seeking help from this office, I have endured hour long wait times and when I have gone to seek treatment from the head surgeon for intense pain while in recovery, I was only seen for 5 minutes by a nurse-tech. I left in more pain and was given conflicting treatment recommendations, making this an altogether confusing recovery process. While the surgery itself was comfortable, this practice does not follow through on follow up care.

Great surgeon, awful billing department - cannot figure out how to file an in-network claim and instead harasses you pleading for you to fix their error. Really reflects poorly on the wonderful medical team there

Dr Kern and his assistant were wonderful! I was apprehensive with all the prepping for my tooth extraction, but felt NO PAIN at all, so, glad they took such good care. My only complaint is that we got NO post-operative pkg or notes upon leaving the sight. I had to call 5 hrs later when I came to - they said we shouldve recd a baggie w instructions. O well - we were able to download off their websitethose instructions are nicely detailed.
