As part of my decision to select Supreme Lending for my servicing needs, I asked that my loan not be transferred to another company. In fact, I essentially stated that to gain my business this had to be agreed to. During the process, I was promised by numerous people this would not occur. In fact, it was approved by John McClellan via email. 1 year later, my loan has been transferred to another company. After requesting to speak with John, I was given an office phone number. So, I found his cell phone number online and called him. The conversation went poorly and, in my opinion, there was a general lack of compassion and accountability from him. Basically, it was explained that what happened (read: error in transferring my loan) occurred outside of his department - even though the lead from that department also promised my loan would not be transferred - so there was nothing he could do about it. Additionally, during my home search process, my credit score was erroneously checked because my lendor had to transfer my information to a new system. This resulted in my credit score unnecessarily dropping as I approached the time to lock in a rate. Lastly, after my contract with the Seller had been finalized and the processes kicked off (background checks, document gathering, appraisals, etc.), it felt like I was hand holding individuals to the finish line. From my perspective, there were numerous tiny errors (mathematical, communication gaps) resulting in me being more hands on than I should have been. If you would like your loan to remain with the company you are working with, I suggest you do one of two things: 1. Don't use Supreme Lending 2. Get this agreement in writing and placed within the Mortgage Note My overall experience was rather poor and I would not recommend them.

I was hesitant to post but I am doing so in hopes of helping the next person with choosing their lender. Here is my honest, full experience with this office. I was recommended to use agent Glynn Leblanc through mutual friends, and was pre approved for financing to start looking for houses. Got an accepted offer on a house in Kyle TX on 3/5/21 with a closing date of 7/30/21. The offer was accepted as an FHA loan, which was hard to do in this market. First major error by Supreme Lending- In May, Glynn called me saying he had made a mistake and that the home was over the maximum allowed for an FHA loan based on the area. This is after saving up a set amount of money with a little cushion to be safe, sitting on an accepted offer for months. In short, I would need to save a LOT of money in two months notice, or sell back interest points to Supreme Lending to have a lower down payment. I reluctantly agreed to figure it out on my end, since I was already too far accepted on the offer and the housing market had risen intensely in the previous months. Fast forward to the week of closing. I get all my requested documents in order, and receive a call from Supreme Lending Wednesday afternoon congratulating me stating my loan has been hard approved. Thursday afternoon at 3pm I am wrapping my day up at work, and had taken off the Friday for closing and was very excited as I had waited 5 months to finally close on my first house. However, Glynn Leblanc called me to inform me he had made a mistake on filing the paperwork, and that he would have to resubmit it in 3 business days legally and therefore would not be able to close the next day, to zero fault of my own. The sellers used this as a breach of contract as we were unable to bring the funds to the closing date on contract, as the house had soared in value since the accepted offer. Glynn was apologetic at first, but became defensive and dismissive of my frustration at the situation and claimed that I would be better off in the end. To the contrary, I am left looking at older, smaller houses for more than I was going to pay for my house if it wasn’t for Supreme Lending’s error, and the house I was going to buy quickly resold for 32,000 dollars more. I also have two pointless hard credit checks as a result. After this already horrible situation, I came out of pocket to retain legal counsel in hopes that Supreme Lending would do the right thing and make things right for their blatant error that cost me six months while the real estate market skyrocketed. Instead, Supreme Lending has ignored all communication in what in my opinion is an attempt to force me to spend more money than I am willing to in legal fees. This is all factual with no parts being left out, it is a horrible feeling to get wronged by a company this badly on such an important thing

I wanted to pour out my gratitude to John McClellan and his team at Supreme Lending. Nate, Luz, Jack, and Josh thank you for working so hard on my refinance! They exceeded my expectations and I'm so happy to have been able to work with you all. Being self employed can be a bit tough during the home lending process but not if you pick the right company and the right people to make it happen. John and his team did exactly that and I couldn't be more grateful. You guys Rock!!!!
