Benchmark Mortgage - John Burnam

My partner and I were lucky enough to team up with John Burnam and his team at Benchmark Mortgage for the purchase of our first home. John was incredibly kind and helpful from the very start of the process and was always guiding us along. We knew immediately into our first call with John that we were working with an amazing team. John brings you step by step through the process and I couldn't have appreciated that more. It's comforting to know your working with such a knowledgeable professional in the space. We were also lucky enough to see the true passion John has for his field. During our first two hour call, we got to learn about John's podcast, "The Lending Podcast", and it was so much fun to listen to a few episodes (Shameless plug for Episode 11). We also spent part of the call learning about how mortgage rates are affected by bond prices, and even reviewed mortgage rate trends over the past 50 years. These are just a few examples of John's passion, but these moments are where my partner and I knew we were working with a talented team. John and his team were there through the entire process and guided us along the way. They were incredibly responsive and enabled us to close on our house in just 15 days! Not only do you have the pleasure of working with John, but you also get to work with Sarah and Jay as well. Just like John, they are both incredibly helpful, responsive, and easy to communicate with. It's crazy to think our entire journey with John was only 15 days, but our experience with John and his team is something my partner and I will remember for a lifetime. Without John and team, we wouldn't be in the incredible home we have. Thank you so much for everything and wish you all the best! P.S. Thank you so much for the drawing of the home! We relocated to Austin from Seattle. Had little knowledge of the market. When we found a home, we had to act quickly. Our Realtor referred us to John Burnam/Benchmark. John and his team were tremendous. Very attentive to our needs and extremely responsive. We closed in a short time (with a competitive rate). I highly recommend Joh and his team. They are good and very pleasant to work with.
