La China ATX authentic Mexican food

This was my second visit due to a nearby construction project. I ordered 3 tacos the first time but was only able to complete 2. The second time I ordered a burrito for about the same price as 3 tacos and was only able to finish 2/3rds of it. Every ingredient was fresh, tasty, and properly seasoned. I often find many taco places do not salt their eggs when cooking, that was not the case here. If I am ever working in this area again, I will absolutely return.

Soooooooo happy we found this place when we were visiting from out of town! All the food was A1 Customer service was amazing as well. Definitely will be back! Kinda a hole in the wall, but so worth trying!

Just found out I'm only 2 minutes away from this food truck. :) Really kind and understanding folks, I had sent an order in via GrubHub but it never made it to La China. When I showed them the order receipt they apologized and started making my food (which came out really quickly). I was even given a free agua fresca for the misunderstanding. Handmade corn tortillas, excellent flavor with the tripas, generous extras (grilled onions and jalapeno, lime wedges, salsas), and really enjoyable pastor. The agua frescas (kiwi, pepino) had just the right amount of sweetness to them. This place is a gem in Easton Park. If you happen to be by the Union check them out, they're across the street on the right. They open for breakfast at 9AM - 3PM Mon - Sat and then on Mon/Fri/Sat they re-open at 5:30PM - 9PM. I'll be back!

Fantastic food. We got 4 tacos and they gave the complimentary grilled peppers and onions. Those really made an impact. The pastor was the best that I've had in Austin. The hot salsa is real nice!
