TA Masonry

TA Masonry has been doing work for me for over 2 years on various projects. Always professional and the work is great quality!

I had a very bad experience with TA Masonry for a large rock excavation job. The owner, Theodore Alvorado (the TA of TA Masonry) has been non-responsive to texts, calls, and emails. He has been unwilling to finish the job for which he was paid in full. He acknowledged that his work did not meet the terms of the contract before he received his final payment, and he indicated that he would address the deficiencies as his crew came back to do work for my neighbor's property. That was in October of 2021. It is now July 2022 and the work was never performed. Specifically, his crew damaged the fascia of the house, damaged gutters, damaged electrical lines, crushed french drains and disconnected them from gutters, left rock debris on the driveway and in the roadway, and left palettes of rock blocking our driveway. TA created drainage issues where there weren't any. Theodore falsely claims that our drains never worked, falsely claims our gutters and fascia were damaged before, and falsely claims that his men would have told them if they caused any damage. The most discouraging thing is the lack of professionalism and respect for his clients. He has not been courteous or professional. He ignores calls; he ignores texts; he ignores emails. He refuses to address the problems that his team created and do the work that he was contracted for. He confirmed before the job that there would be appropriate slope to drain water away from the house and that he would re-run any french drains that were affected. He did damage our french drains and house with his machinery and he did not re-run the drains or even reconnect our drains. Theodore did not do the work he was contracted and paid for. If you are considering using TA Masonry, please reconsider!
