Joseph was very professional, patient and helpful in designing my engagement ring. He spent hours with me going over multiple different designs to make sure everything was perfect and walked me through the whole process.

My wife had wanted to add diamonds from earrings she could no longer wear to her diamond engagement ring. We had looked into it a few years ago but there was only sparse selections from the catalog that would fit all three stones, and given the price of the work, it wasn't compelling enough to bother.
I'd known Joseph for quite a while before I found out he was a custom jeweler... When I'd mentioned all this to Joseph, he told me to make an appointment, and then bring my wife and the diamonds.
When we went in, we had Joseph to ourselves, uninterrupted. He assessed my wife's diamonds. Opening up his CAD software, he set about designing a custom ring for my wife while I peppered him with questions about the whole process of going from design to finished product (I'm an engineer...).
My wife now has a one-of-a-kind ring she designed herself. And it wasn't much more than the catalog work would have been. I was pleasantly surprised that I could afford to give my wife a completely custom ring. (I'd looked at Joseph's web and Facebook page before we went in; I wasn't expecting to be able to...)
Joseph never rushed us. He took the time to answer all our questions at every step of the way. He gave us the pros and cons of our choices, never once pushing.
I definitely recommend making an appointment to investigate custom jewelry. It may be more affordable than you expect.
