I guess 4 stars since this is my first interaction with the company. Im not sure how things will go going forward. What I did NOT like one bit is that when Cory arrived and did the inspection, after that he presented me with something a bit shy of $800 bill! All I asked was to come in and do an inspection to see if anything needed immediate fixing. NOT a replacement job! I dont care how nice you are, or how shiny is your work tablet, if you dont know what I want how can you help me? So one star down for that stunt! That is not to say that Cory was not a great guy to work with and he knew exactly what to do and how to do it! Its the company trying to get a job done that was not asked for! To Chris, the owner of Gator Garage Door Repair: Sir/Madam if you re-read my post you will notice that I said "presented me" I did not say I was billed. The facts are as follows: I asked for a check-up NOT a repair. All the technician had to say/do is a check up, an assessment, a diagnosis. NOT "lets fix these..." You would have gotten me to be a customer, but now I feel I was "bated and switched" If the technician had come in A) Told me what he will be looking for, B) What are the things that if not attended to will be fatal, C) Described what he will do for the fee that I paid, D) Did the things that he would do in C, E) Thanked me for the opportunity and said I will email you my detained notes about this visit and you can call the office to schedule a repair appointment when you are ready! That would have been 100% sweet and professional! I felt like the technician was also a salesman and I am not faulting him for that I BLAME THE COMPANY!!! Technicians do great work at technical stuff, salespeople do great work at cultivating customers! Salespeople do a horrendous job at technical stuff, and you know what I'm going to say about technicians and cultivating customers... Oh it may have been Casey instead of Cory, and I do have the Gator sticker near the garage door opener and I do have the gator frig magnet, and the tech's business card with his name on it. I do not want to penalize the tech. from getting the points, YOU SHOULD GIVE IT TO HIM!!! Oh and this is the wife and not the husband who ordered the service! The point is that you are more concerted with the little things, and just to prove to you that this is a true customer here...OK for some reason I cant attach the photo of the Gator sticker, I will try and send it to you via the company email

Alex was an excellent technician, showed up on time, communicated well, and not only fixed the issue with the door sensor, but also tuned up various hardware. Plus, the price for parts and labor was very fair. Highly recommend Gator Garage Door Repair.

Our technician did an excellent job installing our new garage door. In addition, the sales rep was very helpful in helping us choose the exact replacement door to match the one being replaced.
