We worked with Lauren M and John at the Lakeway location. They were a wonderful team. They made the whole process easier for my Sister and I. The prices were as expected. They accommodated all of our needs.

Overall the experience was very good. The gentlemen who picked up the body were courteous, kind, and professional. The people that I initially talked with at the site were courteous and patient, but sometimes they did not seem to have their act together. However, one of the them came to my home to secure a forgotten signature, which was very nice. At times, with the location manager, I felt as if I were at a marketing presentation versus making viewing arrangements for the deceased. It felt a bit insincere, and I was addressed by the wrong name when I first walked in with my family. This was disconcerting. Viewing: My family member looked very nice; everything was done that was asked. The display of his mementos was very nicely done. There was a bit of resistance when I asked for a flower basket from a relative moved from the entry way to inside the viewing area. This was witnessed by two other people as well . In my opinion, there should have been no hesitation to move the basket. When I picked up the mementos and flowers the next day, the person in attendance was helpful and courteous. The office manger also had everything ready for me when I picked up the death certificates and other personal items. Burial will be held at a future date so I cannot speak to this at this time. This was my second and a bit different experience than the fist time I used WCF 5 years ago. However, I have learned that WCF was sold to a larger corporation in California. This is unfortunate for the consumer, as my sibling and I felt the experience a bit more personal the first time.
