Edit: After taking the jacket back to Star Brite, an employee took the item, gave me a new ticket and took my number so that the owner could contact me to discuss this issue. After a week there was still no call so I returned to pick up the jacket and got the same employee. She gave no explanation or apology. Just a, oh he didnt call you? So not only did they ruin the jacket but there was zero attempt to try to make things right or even refund the $10 that we paid for them to ruin it. Unfortunate. Original review: This place completely ruined my boyfriend's jacket that I got him for his birthday. The jacket was beautiful and had weatherproofing on it. They completely stripped the weatherproofing and now the jacket is light grey when it used to be a a dark smoke color. Don't go here unless you want your clothes ruined. Very nice staff. Very poor cleaning. Star Brite destroyed a new and expensive silk blouse. The stitching has frayed on the front and back. This is not the only piece of clothing Star Brite has ruined. I will no longer be returning.
