ATX K9 Dog Training

Steven and the team always do a great job with my Presa Canario, LeBron. LeBron loves going to ATX and he always comes back loved and cared for.

We took our dog for a board & train here a few years ago and have continued to come back for standard boarding while we travel! He's an anxious little guy, but they're so patient with him and he always comes home so comfortable and happy.

We had a fantastic experience with a board and train for our 2 year old standard poodle Axl. We were having difficulty with him pulling on walks and jumping on people to name a few. They were very communicative and sent regular reports during the weeks he stayed at their facility. They have a really cool doggy playground outside too and loved seeing the pics of him playing out there. Most importantly, they taught us how to carry over the training at home, and our pup's behavior has improved dramatically. Even my mother-in-law was impressed by how he could stay on place when she comes to visit versus how he used to jump all over her. Highly recommend ATX K9!

My Husky mix, Mocha, did a 3 week board and train with ATXK9 in February, just a little after she turned 3 months old. Unfortunately, she had to have a surgery just prior to her board and train drop off date and they were quick to accommodate our needs, checking to make sure she was okay and scheduling another drop off date once she was healed. Once Mocha was at board and train we received updates via report cards and pictures on how she was progressing and her overall well being was. The report cards every few days were a highlight, as it allowed us to check on how our fur baby was doing (we missed her lots!!). When she finished training we attended an in person take home training session to go over all she learned and boy was it amazing!! Mocha could sit, come, place, and lay down all on command. She walked on a leash with no issues, healing next to us as we walked, not tugging at the leash, and best of all not eating the leash!! ATXK9 is amazing and really helped our pup learn the dos and donts of dog life! Since her board and train Mocha has had no issues and even continues to visit ATXK9 through there boarding services they offer post board and train. She absolutely loves ATXK9 and so do we!

I cannot express how grateful I am for having found the team at ATX K9! I did a board and train with my dog Falco for a full month back in July of 21 and I watched my reactive, energetic GSD mix transform from a dog I didn't feel comfortable letting off leash or interact much with other dogs (I tried and he ran off 3 times and caused me a lot of heartache!) to a dog I can now enjoy comfortably doing so. It's allowed me to have so much better of a relationship with my dog and get to enjoy things like our daily hour long off-leash walks in the park with him where we both enjoy letting off some steam and he gets the opportunity to meet new friends. That itself was more than enough but in addition I've also boarded with them post-training for the last two years and Falco absolutely loves to go stay with his other family for the week or weekend; they treat him like their own! He gets very excited when he knows he's going to stay there. I have quite a few travels each year for work / pleasure and they've been wonderfully flexible and available for me. It gives me complete peace of mind to leave Falcs there for however long I end up needing. Highly recommend the team at ATX K9 (Steven, Ashley, Alyssa, Miller, and Tami) for your training and boarding needs!
