Meg is WONDERFUL at what she does. She has a pragmatic, thorough approach to working with dogs and great follow up as well, with recap notes and video to be able to follow along after lessons. She is punctual, takes into account your individual lifestyle and goals, and comes up with plans that are realistic. I highly recommend Meg!

We cannot possibly recommend The Composed Canine enough!! We have a very loving, very excitable terrier mix who loved to jump on new people entering our home and pulled like crazy on his leash during walks; and a Pomeranian who didn't stop barking despite our best efforts. Within a few weeks of homeschool, Meg has restored peace to our home and greatly reduced the chaos of our day to day! We can now walk our terrier on a leash with minimal pulling, he hasn't jumped on guests since the first week we started training, we learned how to communicate with both dogs in a way they understand and care for them in the best ways possible. We never would have figured this out on our own and we are so thankful for the care and attention received during our training. We were provided with so many tools and Meg is so patient teaching us humans as well as the pups how we can work together and coexist happily. It's also important to note that Meg did all of this with the chaotic distraction of a toddler in the mix! A+ We will continue to work with The Composed Canine for all of our future training needs!

Our family is so thankful that we found Meg at The Composed Canine! Our house was pretty chaotic with two high energy dogs & a toddler. The dogs had a hard time relaxing around each other & were always playing rough in the house. Meg took all of our concerns into consideration when creating her plan for working with us. We did her homeschool program where she focus primarily on our second dog and brought our first dog into some of the sessions. She worked on loose leash walking, house manners, & reactivity. She also helped us to implement lifestyle changes that will be beneficial to our dogs. She helped us find better food, taught us basic grooming skills, & made sure that all the tools she gave us fit into our lifestyle. We are thoroughly enjoying the peacefulness in our house & we feel like we are better owners for our dogs. Meg is caring, professional, thorough, & you can tell that she truly loves the dogs that she works with. We are so grateful that we found her & for all the help she gave our family. We highly recommend her!

The transformation in my pups has been absolutely incredible. They no longer jump and bounce off of my guests as people enter the house. Walks are now a pleasant stroll through the neighborhood instead of a rigorous workout while I try to wrangle 2 beasties. Off leash time is less stressful, because they actually come back to me when I call them! I have so much more fun and so much less stress with my pups.

About
The Composed Canine

The Composed Canine offers training services to pet dog owners to tackle behavioral problems and transform their dogs from chaotic to composed.

We offer everything from puppy programs, loose leash walking, and off leash training among other things.

All of our training programs will help you with some of the biggest things that many families get frustrated with.  Jumping, pulling on the leash, stealing objects, chewing, play biting, not coming when they’re called… These things will soon be problems of the past!

We have a training option for everyone, with the biggest difference between our programs being how much time we spend together AND how much time we spend with your dog 1-on-1.  These programs offer a variety of options between private lessons, and sending your dog to The Composed Canine in Pflugerville to be immersed in one-on-one training in a home environment every day.

The more time we have with your pup, the farther along they get in less time, and the less work it is for you! What could be better?
