Very nice people and you dont have wait long to get in. I have been going to Westlake derm for at least 10 years on Lamar and this one is as good. Park at Whole Foods, as opposed to looking for the parking garage

If you're looking for an excellent Dermatologist, I highly recommend you see Dr. Paddock. He is very thorough with his examination, very professional and more importantly very knowledgeable!

The reason I visited Westlake Dermatology was for a consultation. The Domain location was wonderful. Scheduling was a breeze, and the office gets in touch with you immediately. Leti assisted me with my consultation and she provided detailed information and really considered my medical history. She is incredible, and I am choosing Westlake for procedures.

Update: after reading this review, Westlake called us and rescheduled my son's appointment for a week from his original appointment. I appreciate that they sought us out to do what they could. We made a medical appointment a month out for my son concerning a painful skin condition. The day before his appointment the office canceled due to the doctor taking a sick day. I understand that. Life happens. The sucky part: the next opening they had was three more weeks out. Thats what gets Westlake one star from us. There is zero cushion in their schedule for more urgent appointments or doctors canceling on you last minute. Well be looking elsewhere for what we need.

I had a wonderful initial consultation and procedure for my first appointment with Westlake Derm for Botox! Gasp. As I approach my mid 30s, Im noticing slight wrinkles and laugh lines on my face which my husband appreciates, but being vain and appreciating the modern age of science, I am determined to use injectables in a proactive way alongside my dedicated skincare routine. Enter my visit with Dr. Amy Bekanich, MD and her assistant Tania, who were both extremely helpful and pleasant to talk with for my anxious self. Since I work in the domain, it was a quick 5 minute walk from my office on my Starbucks route in the Northside lol. The space is clean and beautiful, with staffing getting me checked in. A few initial calls to get me on the schedule, a deposit if I wanted to get the Botox injections same day of my consult. I really really like that Westlake Derm allowed me to online schedule, which is my biggest pet peeve when I have a hard schedule to accommodate and have to talk to someone. My appointment for 10:20am was a bit of wait, 15-20minutes running behind which was a bummer, but for being able to have my initial injections and discussions on Botox/Dysport with a medicinal professional, it was imperative I asked all the right questions instead of picking up a casual Groupon or moseying over to various MedSpas which were all very reasonable in pricing. I will say at $14/unit for Botox, it was more when price shopping, but I knew I wanted a MD conducting the visit, and Dr. Amy Bekanich was extremely pleasant and friendly for us meeting for the first time. I ended up with getting 64 units for my initial visit, and in my 30s, it is a bit much, but from much of my research due to wanting masseter injections for my TMJ/wider jaw, Dr. Bekanich was understanding of what I wanted to achieve since she has a plastic surgeon background, 12 units on my forehead, 12 on my crows feet and 20 each jaw (its a big muscle and its def the main contribution towards the pricy spend of this visit). She was also very realistic of the timeline of progress and level setting expectations. I look forward to returning to Westlake Derm and Dr. Bekanichs care, I mean I am getting needles in my face, its only right that I get it done with someone I truly trust :) Hoping to post before and after pics to share once a few months have passed, and continued upkeep progress with continued care here!
