Dental procedures of any type are best avoided from my experience - that is until I discovered my team at Union. I'm from tech startups with cool professionals. Union makes the grade. My new friends are skilled crafts persons at every level of their operation. Adam Carter has built a team that is family and includes their patients. The office is the coolest medical environment I've ever been in and I've been to hundreds selling software. These folks rock big time.

Fantastic experience! The entire staff is AMAZING! Such a calm and inviting atmosphere for a dental office. If you have any appreciation about having an implant, this is the practice for you! Highly recommend Dr Carter! He has a very warm and caring personality, that immediately puts you at ease. I would not hesitate to return to this practice in the future!

I was in a double rollover accident and had significant damage to my jaw and teeth. I was in San Francisco at the time and had some work done and was happy with the work but when I moved to Austin and needed more work, I was quite nervous to find a great place to go. Viola! I hit the jackpot. The team is small but you can see a dynamic that their communication is seamless and constant. They are definitely a team from the moment you enter, you get to meet Lauren to when you meet Jen the expert right hand to Dr. Carter. They made me so comfortable. I am blown away by the state-of-the-art technology. I thought I had gone to state of the art in San Fran but this is by far more sophisticated. Recovery was easy. Dr. Carter is so well versed in implants and the quintessential artist for a pretty smile. Gees, I trust them. I peeked thru a window as I watched one of the technicians create 3-D images of implant teeth and how digitally it was modeled from minute characteristics, forces on the teeth, perfect fit to a bite. It was so cool. Can you tell I am happy with my experience and the outcome? : )

My wife and I moved to the Austin area in September of 2022 and like most people relocating to a new city needed to find a dentist. Enamel Dentistry was recommended and we established care with Dr. Bethany Petersen. She examined both of us and advised me that she thought I might benefit from a referral to an implantologist. I went to the same dentist in Florida for over 30 years. I was prone to gum disease, periodic infections and a myriad of dental issues. Bottom line, I had a number of extractions and a removeable lower bridge. The Florida dentist did a great job of trying to help me save my teeth, but at the time I saw Dr. Petersen, I was way past continuing treatment at that level. I made an appointment with Union Dental Implant Center to see Dr. Adam Carter. Needless to say, given my dental history, I was incredibly anxious and nervous about the appointment and what course of treatment might be recommended. From the first meeting, my concerns went away. Dr. Carter, Lauren and Julie were all unbelievably kind, compassionate and fully focused on what would be best for me long term. The technology utilized was incredible and amazing to witness during the process. The design your smile appointment was totally other world!!! They encouraged me to provide pictures from my past and identify those that I thought showed my best prior smile. Dr. Carter said I would be an ideal candidate for a complete upper and lower arch full mouth rehabilitation (all on 4) utilizing multiple implants. After several discussions with my wife, we decided that we would move forward with the recommended treatment plan and I could not be happier or more pleased with the outcome. It was a forever investment that was life changing. You would think that with 8 hours of surgery under general anesthesia; return the next day for insertion of the first prototype teeth on 12 new implants; periodic returns for progress reviews, adjustments and an additional set of prototype teeth, that something could certainly upset the apple cart. But that never happened. Throughout the process, Dr. Carter and the staff went above and beyond to assure my comfort, understanding of what was happening and ensuring that I was happy and satisfied from an aesthetic perspective. Surgery was in late May 2023 and I got my final set of beautiful teeth in October 2023. To say this experience has changed my life would be a complete understatement and totally inadequate. My family tells me that I look 10 years younger. The shape of my face and mouth have favorably changed. I am eating ANYTHING I CARE TO EAT. No longer avoiding corn on the cob, apples, barbeque ribs, nuts, popcorn. No longer cutting food into smaller pieces and moving it around in my mouth to avoid areas of discomfort. No longer adjusting my smile to avoid exposing bad teeth and gums. The decision to have the surgery was one of the most consequential decisions I have made in my 72 years on earth. I do not regret the decision or any part of the process. I wish that I had met Dr. Carter and his team 25 years ago!!!! They have become extended family!!!! I could not more highly recommend Union Dental Implant Center, Dr. Carter, Lauren, Julie and staff. They are the best of the best. If the opportunity exists for anyone to experience this process, they should not hesitate to put themselves in the hands of Union Dental Implant Center. A rating of five stars does not do them justice. A rating of five million stars may even fall short. Thank you for all you have done.

At the age of 43, this was the first dental experience I have had where I felt like someone understood the emotions that go along with failing teeth. And it wasn't someone, it was everyone at Union Dental. From my first phone call, until now (3 weeks post op from upper and lower full-arch prosthetics) I have looked forward to each appointment. Every step of the process was outlined in detail and what was fear has turned into anticipation and excitement. What was a major surgery for those who performed it, was a short nap for me and a tolerable recovery. Yes, there was pain and discomfort post surgery but it was a fraction of what I expected. I had some minor complications but they were dealt with quickly and with urgency. I still have some steps in my process and look forward to updating this review. I hope anyone nervous or fearful of getting their teeth taken care of does so. The cost is worth the result and my entire body/mind is healthier now, not just my teeth.
