I couldn’t be happier with Dr. Daniel Szalay, unfortunately my son broke his jaw and he was amazing from beginning to end. Dr. Szalay is very professional and incredibly knowledgeable!!! I am so thankful for the outcome and his kindness!!

Recently got my wisdom teeth yanked by Dr. Szalay and it was much easier than expected! Four days post op, the site is healing well and seems good to go. Him and his team were very focused on their job but still compassionate to the needs of the patient which is much appreciated. I'm happy with my experience and would recommend him and his team.

Wonderful and positive experience with Dr. Szalay and his staff. I went in to get all 4 wisdom teeth removed. They provided written, very detailed and comprehensive post-procedure instructions that was such a huge help and resource for me. I did develop dry socket to one site but Dr. Szalay and his staff accommodated me for multiple follow-ups On the same day that I called and was able to treat and reduce my pain. Highly recommended.

Wanted to leave a review specifically for this Dr. If you have a complicated or seemingly compromising wisdom tooth or extraction situation go for this guy^. Everything seems to be going really smoothly with healing. I’m at day 3 so far and I’m having some stiffness in the jaw and pain which is normal. I thought I was going to be very swollen though which is not the case. No bruising, no swelling, and I had horizontally impacted partially erupted 3rd molars if that tells you anything. In fact, I was experiencing swelling before I went in, and had severe migraines all the time. I feel much much better. I really did think things would be worse, I’ve always seen friends faces after wisdom teeth removal and been like yikes 😳. I guess if you have a big day coming up like weddings or pictures roll your dice with this surgeon because I usually bruise like a peach. I’m also really freaked out by doctors and sharp things, and have always had irrational thoughts about dental surgery. I definitely don’t feel that way now. I got really lucky having been paired with this surgeon. Feel free to respond or contact me if you’re worried before an appointment here. I promise it’s worth your time, health and money

Day 4 after having 4 wisdom teeth removed, I went in because I had excruciating pain, pretty sure it was a dry socket. My pain level was a 10. I couldn’t sleep, couldn’t work, pain in ear and neck, chin, he said it was fine and that it wasn’t a dry socket and to come back if the pain got worse. Are you kidding me? Day 6, more of the same same, couldn’t sleep night before and pain is awful. Thankfully I found some clove drops at Whole Foods which brought some relief. He will do the job but he will not not much much sympathy he looked in my mouth less than 10 seconds when I went in on day 4. Now part of this could have also been that I didn’t know I had a second set of prescription drugs at pharmacy until day 3... first set contain ibuprofen and heavier pain meds and antibiotics were in second set. Pharmacy forgot to call me and no one from his office let me know these meds would be at pharmacist. I would think someone should call, text, email and let you know which medicines have been prescribed to you so this was probably why the dry socket developed. I thought the prescription I received was everything had no idea there was more. I hear of others whose surgeon gave cloves or something to relieve pain instantly. Had I not found those drops I would be approaching day 7 of being in misery. Moral of story— be your own advocate— do not depend on his office— so I would say I wouldn’t recommend. Day 9- almost to end of antibiotics still level 6 pain and laying with ice pack all day. Not as bad as before but it’s still annoying but I have been taking the clove drops every 5 hours. I plan to go for a second opinion. I don’t think I should still be in this much pain.
