Perspective Dental: Ashley Smitherman, DDS

If I could give more stars, I would! I had the most amazing experience at Perspective. The entire staff is extremely friendly, and the doctor is like no other. I have had terrible anxiety when visiting the dentist in the past due to major discomfort during and after my appointments. Dr. Smitherman made sure I was exceptionally comfortable my entire visit. I highly recommend this practice to everyone!

I was pleased with my experience at Perspective Dental. Elena (my hygienist) was very gentle. They have a water jet thing that they use for most of the plaque cleaning and only use the metal pick for touch-ups (a nice contrast to the place I went to before where they used the metal pick for all of it). I saw Dr. Smitherman for the exam after Elena was done. They let you watch Netflix via TVs on the ceiling while they clean your teeth :)

Awesome team! Dr. Smitherman always takes the time to answer my questions and explain things thoroughly each time I visit. Her staff is professional, personable and warm. I always feel confident I’m in good hands at Perspective Dental!

I usually don't write any review but Dr. Smitherman and her staff deserve to be recognized. After a couple of bad experience in Austin I'm so lucky to find Perspective dentistry. They are very professional, and make you feel very comfortable during your visit (I'm anxious every single time I have an appointment). Also, using advanced technology like 3D print for a Night Gaurd is very impressive.

Dr. Smitherman and her staff are the best!! I have been suffering from jaw pain for so long and finally decided to see her. I was able to get in quickly, her staff were so wonderful and friendly. She explained me the whole process thoroughly and was just so honest and clear about everything. She recommended a night guard. I have had those before and they didn’t fix my problem. I was skeptical. But I have been wearing this now for a few weeks and it has given me amazing results! I would give them 10 stars if I could !!!
