Urban Home Builders built a house next to ours and although change and construction next door is never easy, they were amazing. They were cooperative with our needs and even helped us with access while we were building a pool in our backyard. Should I ever need a home built, there is no question I would call Gary Zygmont and Urban Home Builders.

Gary Zygmont of Urban Home Builders is a stand up guy. I would highly recommend using him as your contractor if you are considering building a custom home. My wife and I are very particular and we found Gary was able to deliver a great home in a timely manner. He is no doubt far more transparent then other custom home builders, we were able to go forward with a full understanding of cost expections. Austin can be a difficult place to build but Gary was able to effectively navigate the red tape and easily pass every inspection. He is easy to work with and is very responsive. I can't imagine working with anyone else. He defies every clich you might associate with building contractors. He is honest, aims to please and an excellent builder.

We hired Gary Zygmont of Urban Home Builders to build our forever-home, and he hit it out of the ballpark. We love our amazing home! It is not only beautiful -- a true urban oasis but also one solidly built house. Everyone who has walked into our home has simply gone nuts over the place. Gary impressed us from the first time he communicated with us, which was in the consulting phase. We were not even sure that we wanted to go through the process of a custom build, but Gary willingly met us at the site we were contemplating on purchasing to walk it with us. He provided great constructive comments and picked up issues that we failed to consider to help us make an informed decision on whether to build and what to build. We visited the construction site regularly, and Gary was always there working. He was hands-on during the entire project. If he had to be away, he kept us informed of his schedule. If we had to be away, he kept us informed of the construction progress. Gary attended to every question and every request of ours. He even managed the pool builder and the landscaper for us. We worked with Gary during the height of COVID-19 with all its challenges. He managed and planned for supply chain issues, labor shortages, COVID-19, and even kept the residents of our neighborhood happy during construction. We told Gary that we had to be moved into our new home before years end, and he delivered. We enjoyed the entire process and outcome with Gary that were now looking at doing a second construction project with him!

Gary is fantastic! We worked with Gary and Urban Home Builders to build our home and we couldnt be happier. After looking at houses on the market for a year without success, an undeveloped lot came on the market in Northwest Hills. We contacted Gary and, after walking the lot and hearing his vision for the project, we decided to purchase it and hire Gary as our builder. Building a house can be a daunting proposal, especially in Austin, but Garys system breaks it down and makes it very manageable. He is an expert in navigating Austin permitting and code. His vendors are also excellent; they are professional and easy to work with. Gary is honest, reliable, and diligent. He is always available and responds to all calls, emails, and texts immediately. Our house is beautiful and the quality of work is top notch. We look forward to enjoying our new home for many years to come. I highly recommend Gary Zygmont and Urban Home Builders to build your next home.
