Wish I could give Charlie Baird zero stars. I paid him a retainer for representation and to seek help in the return of my property. Not only did he NOT provide any counsel or insight into my case for over a MONTH, he waited until 5 days before a hearing to tell me he couldnt handle my case.
His response via email was, Im sorry you relied on our firm to your detriment. Super classy.
In speaking with him, he complained about his workload and how busy he was, which doesnt matter to me at all. If you pay for a service, you expect a service.
He needs to learn professionalism and follow through. Dont let the other reviews fool you, the man is borderline senile and will forget case details. Save your money, dont retain this clown.

While the vast majority of my clients are very satisfied with my representation, there are a very few who are just not a good fit in the attorney-client relationship. I recognized this when this person insisted that I represent him on a case for which I had not been retained. Our fee agreement clearly stated that I represented him on a single case, and only that case. Therefore, we parted ways, and I wish him a successful resolution of his cases. Sincerely, Charlie Baird
