I live in Tampa, Florida, and I filed a small claim against a woman that lived in Austin. Every time I called, the receptionist was always so helpful and kind. Thank you so much!

After attempting many times to help this court get organized they continued to fail miserably. From a ticket getting sent to the incorrect court to begin with along with it not being filled out correctly to scheduling meetings via zoom that no one chose to show up for. Its unfortunate that we have to spend tax dollars on sub par service. A privately owned company would fail if operated in this way. Part 2- After Completing my defensive driving course last night I emailed my certificate to the court. I emailed it this morning 02/08/2023. I waited until 9:15 this morning to make sure they received it and find out what the next steps were to complete the process. The person answering the phone expressed that they had no way to check emails and this would take 24-48 Hours. I asked why and he replied that no one was there this morning that could provide me any help. I asked if he was just the operator. He replied that he was a clerk and proceeded to hang up on me. I believe his name was Stephen. This is another example of this court failing miserably at taking care of their citizens. Like I said before; if my ethics and etiquette was this flawed I would be out of business.

Went to show proof of insurance and get a ticket dismissed. There was only 1 person in the lobby when I arrived. Once in the building I was told I could only be seen by appointment only. Called to schedule the appointment and was told the officer hadn't turned in my ticket yet. (20 days later!) I'm now being told to call back every week to see if the officer submitted my ticket to the court yet. My appearance date is 8 days from now. Will I get a warrant if I'm still waiting on him? Why wouldn't they just let me sit in line and talk to one of the 3 clerks whos sitting there doing nothing? Missed time from work for this broken system. They are blaming the changes on Covid said the person on the phone I talked to. Horrible waste of taxpayer money. They want to lock us up..!

Literally the worst. Court Clerk is taking way too long to respond. We tried to make an appointment for our marriage ceremony. I asked about availability by email and literally they took a week to answer. They gave us only 2 different days which the date was too soon so asked another date. Still waiting for the answer. I wanted to make sure everything is ready (dress, photographer, etc) but we couldnt make an appointment for the ceremony. I dont understand why they are talking so long to check availability.
