I had a very positive experience at this Austin MacWorks location. I had visited the Apple Store in the Domain a few times because of issues with my Macbook Pro, but they unfortunately did not take my problems seriously and sent me on my way. The staff at Austin MacWorks took note of the issue immediately upon my first visit, and they worked quickly to fix it. They kept me updated through phone calls, which I appreciated. Highly recommend this business!

Prospective customers beware Austin Macworks financial incentives arent aligned with you getting the solution you might need. My laptop didnt power up this weekend and I scheduled an appointment first thing this Monday to have my laptop checked out. I found them via Apples authorized service center portal. I was told it would take 3-5 days before they could get to it or I could pay $100 rush fee to go to head of the line. Considering I use my laptop for work I was willing to pay for rush. After 1 day they called me and explained there was water damage from a coffee spill. I knew this was from over a year ago. I was fairly certain that the issue was the battery or something to do with the I/O board. They explained that there was no way to fix the laptop and that I could try sending my laptop to DriveSavers to recover what data I could this was a huge red flag. DriveSavers give 10% referral fees to service centers and charge $800-4000 to recover fragments of your hard drive. They even prompted me to let DriveSavers know I sent them when I picked up my laptop I noticed walking to my truck that they only installed 1 of the many screws into the bottom of the laptop. The bottom was falling out. Frustrated I called several service centers in the area while sitting in the parking lot and asked to speak with the in house techs. I ended up finding one off congress and drove straight to them to drop off my laptop at 11am. By 1pm they called me to inform me they only needed to reset something on the power supply to do with the I/O board and it was ready to pickup. 3 hours of my time and $150 and I was on my way to my house to backup and migrate over my data. I cant emphasize enough how disappointed I am with Macworks. They werent rude and seemed like good people. However their business model is in direct conflict with their customers needs. The fact that this is typical of authorized Apple service centers is very frustrating. Your data is important, dont do business with companies who are incentivized for you to fail.

I cant recommend highly enough Austin MacWorks! I have used them a few times whenever I have any issue with one of my devices, and they are always extremely knowledgable, helpful, efficient and always solve my problems on the spot! Miko who works there, is the one who usually serves me and he is so helpful and kind! As I said, I cant recommend this business enough!

Kegan is literally a saint. He helped me maximize my trade-in vs. charging fees to repair my old iphone. I left saving hundreds of dollars. I have also been there for macbook repairs and the whole staff is phenomenal! You'll never catch me at the genius bar ever again.

Bought a used MacBook Pro for my daughter as a Christmas present from a different company. I managed to delete the software. Scheduled an appointment, showed up early and Milo knew exactly how to fix it and did it for free!!! Just sitting here in the lobby and listening to the workers, very knowledgeable group and very assistive to their customers! Ill definitely be back for all of my Apple needs and products!! Wish I could give more than 5 stars
