I have shopped at this store for a long time and liked it very much, but today I tried to exchange a gift (for the same item, no money back) and the experience was like pulling teeth. The employees insist they cant process an exchange without a receipt, even though J Crew has done this in the past. I guess policies are policies, but the employees acted like I was trying to pull some kind of scam. It left a bad taste in my mouth. Update 12/21: I called the J Crew corporate office, and they accepted the exchange. I also went back to the store to buy a pair of jeans, and they had a solid holiday sale running. Still my favorite store for the tall, low-effort male demographic.

One of my favorite stores! Great quality clothes, and good sales. Clearance sales are hit and miss, but awesome deals!
