Had an urgent need to get documents official records from incident that happened 43 years ago. The clerk, James, went above and beyond to search the microfilm library and found the documents for me.

Jesus Cardena (Court Clerk II) is a "diamond in the rough!" He responded to my request on items within a few minutes....and had resolvable-dialogue with me over my concerns....which is an invaluable quality to possess! You can't train that type of responsiveness - it comes with your character! Thank you.

Adrian (Court Clerk II, 455th District Court) is awesome! He emailed the documents that I needed, that had been requested from an attorney's office, but apparently they never saw the email, so I asked Adrian if he would email the docs to me instead, and BAM! Got them!! Thank you! A++++

I called to ask if any local forms were required for a name change. I mentioned that I was on the Travis County Law Library and the lady cut me off and said "that has nothing to do with us" before letting me finish. I told her website had instructed me to ask the Clerk's Office if any local forms needed to be attached. She also could not answer my question clearly. The second person who I talked to was much kinder and gave me a better answer.

Called asked if I could be provided with verification if someone passed in Travis county and they don't even have those records at clerks office. Seriously what is set up in Austin where people actually do their job? Get your **** together City of Austin this is embarrassing and depressing that you dont even know who dies in your city.
