It's been over a month since my initial adjustment and it's kind of insane how much less pain I have been experiencing. I had come across Atlas Head and Spine after years of various massage therapists and traditional chiropractors. I was actually awaiting a doctor's appointment to see a neurologist for my thoracic outlet syndrome when I was recommended to Atlas so I decided to take this route first. Basically what I was experiencing was upper back, shoulder and neck pain that radiated into the back of my head as well. A pinched nerve or two in my shoulder blade to top it off and I was in a lot of fear around this as I am a hairstylist and early into my career. From the first phone call with Dr. Gates I felt very hopeful about the experience. He was very sincere and invited to me to see the office and have a consultation, no guarantees or promises. Just an invitation to come see if they can even help. I went ahead and booked the alotted time after my consultation just encase they could help my situation and it was VERY validating to see literal proof of my discomfort on the initial x-rays. The adjustment itself is so non-invasive I literally didn't realize he had already done it lol. Then you relax in the resting room to let the adjustment settle and then do a second round of x-rays to compare the difference. The month of healing time was definitely full of ups and downs and hesitation of if this even helped but after the initial month I've settled into my correct framework and multiple people have commented on how straight I sit now lol and my boyfriend noticed how I hadn't been complaining of pain for quite some time and I do just overall feel better in my body. I am so thankful for Dr. Gates and the Atlas team.

After just one visit, 15 years of chronic neck pain is almost gone. Ive been to tons of other chiropractors, drs, etc and no one else has been able to help me this much. So grateful for this place!

Doctor Christopher Gates is gifted in identifying and resolving dysfunction within the body, and subsequently the mind as well. He has spotted areas of concern unbelievably quickly with accuracy. His micro-adjustments however small they may be perceived have a very large impact in helping the body reach equilibrium. I came into Atlas Spine with years of trauma physically and mentally. Without knowing that the two were interconnected, Christopher compassionately led me to a path of healing I wouldnt have reached as quickly without him. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

NUCCA and Dr. Gates have completely changed my life! I have always been very active but in a lot of pain due to spinal misalignment. I am pain free and feel 20 years younger after one visit!

The system needs to add a rating above 5 stars for the work and impact of Chris Gates and Atlas team. I had struggled with bad migraines since age 12 or so, sometimes several per week. Even as an adult I still got them every few weeks, and always had a tender spot behind my right ear at the C1 junction. Chris adjusted me in early January and 2 months later I have had zero migraines and no pain/tenderness at all in my right neck. It also fixed an imbalance in my weight distribution (bearing almost 11% more weight on my right leg than my left) that was causing slow recovery and severe soreness after running. Im now running 2-3 miles easily wvery other day with swift recovery while barely stretching. Cant recommend seeing Chris enough for any potential imbalance or head/neck issue related to the spine.
