Met a friend for lunch before we started our closing shifts. Oh what a treat!! Have seen Hattie's B on Food Network and was so excited when I heard it was coming to Austin. So very good! Huge portions, staff super friendly, atmosphere was great. I got the large all white combo spicy/HOT with collard greens and potato salad... Brought me back to the South to my Grand daddy's cooking! Special memories. I took home half of my order for my husband and he was shocked at how big the pieces were. So very good!! Welcome Hattie's B to Austin. We now have three incredible but yet different Fried Chicken places. Makes me and my tummy happy. Next time going to go when I'm not scheduled to work to try the boozy coke or lemonade slushy ! Parking: Has a parking lot but a bit small. Lucky to find a spot on Friday at lunch but grateful that they have free parking! Wheelchair accessibility: Saw a ramp through the entrance. Dinning Room and patio seem large enough for wheelchair accessible.

The main thing here is having one person to take orders aint going to cut it. Parking was tight but enough parking spaces. Food wasnt great chicken was eh like not worth the 51.97$. Also, our pickles had like raw batter employee said we would replace them. okay great but the cook asked her what was wrong and she said they looked pale How are you going to lie right in front of me? why not communicate what it actually is so there could be improvement on the next batch of pickles. other than that the seating was good most of the staff was helpful.
