I came to this school for the first time today and was a bit hesitant due to the receptionist being a bit rude and stressed but I was given to a student named Ashley and even though she was a little nervous, she was eager to learn and asked her supervisor many questions and did her best to make sure I left happy. Great job Ashley and keep going!!

Well, it's been almost a week since graduation and I must say I miss being there. I chose this school originally because I am on a GI Bill (recently separated veteran) and the GI Bill runs by a time based limit.. Meaning I get 36 months of free education to use at my pleasure. I had visited Paul Mitchell beforehand and they told me it would take 12-15 months to finish my 1000 hours needed to test and become a licensed barber. Bevelle Barber School had me done in 7 months! This will save me enough time in my GI Bill to go for my Master's Degree. The educators there (Jordan, Cruz, Miss Leigh Ann, and Miss Nadine) make everything worth your while. Miss Nadine and Miss Barbara are your drill instructors, Jordan is the chief of the unit, and Miss Leigh Ann and Cruz are dependable sergeants that will press the gas whenever you need them to. What I love most, was that the students were put in environments where they collaborate and grow off of each other's energy. Sure, they never participate in pot lucks.. but every month Bevelle has a fun "Fade Off Challenge" and if you win, you earn yourself the Fade Champion Belt for that month(along side your picture on the wall!) I am 33 years old and still felt comfortable learning amongst 19 year olds and 45 year old students. There are students of all ages, races, and backgrounds working.. learning.. and laughing together. I hate to say these days are memories now, but to have experienced it.. meant everything. Oh.. and I got a haircut there once.. It was nice. :)

Called ahead and was told they were going to be open all day. When we arrived at 3pm they ended up being closed, we called again and the lady said they were closed and hung up. Was an hour away.
