We needed to sell our home quickly to act on a house that we wanted to purchase. We contacted Open Door, got their initial offer, and made an appointment for an on-site evaluation. That evaluation would determine how much they were going to subtract for repairs. Even before a repair adjustment, the initial offer was much lower than we knew our house was worth. But we didn't think we had the time to go through a traditional realtor. We decided to call Don Lawyer anyway to see what he and his team could do. He came out and was confident that he could sell our home quickly and we could close with much more money in our pockets than with Open Door.
