    The salon is beautiful, warm, and inviting. The stylists are all welcoming and friendly. I always get a little nervous trying out a new salon, but I had no choice as I'm new to the area. I chose ExcluShear Salon because the content I saw on Instagram was impressive. The new client consultation is great because your stylist is getting to know you, your hair, and also what goals you have for your hair going forward. That showed me that they really care about you as more than just a customer. Alexus is my stylist, and she did an AMAZING job on my hair. I am on a brand new healthy hair journey, and I will trust Alexus with my tresses from now on. She was very professional from start to finish. You can tell she has a true passion for what she does. During my first visit, Alexus let me know everything that she was doing and made sure I was comfortable with the process. I've already had my 2nd appointment, and I look forward to many more!

    After IG stalking the salon & Alexus for months I took the plunge two months ago and have not looked back since. My previous salon experience left me non trusting & apprehensive. Alexus eased all the anxiety away with her beautiful personality and knowledge. Alexus not only has my hair silked out to the Gawds but my hair feels just as amazing! Alexus is all about healthy hair & put me on color punishment to ensure my hair is in its healthiest state first & I adore her for loving on my hair. All the stylists are beautiful Godly women & I love the whole experience! Client for life!!!

    Im Beware of Booking when you are Parent I attempted to reschedule my appointment the day BEFORE by calling Billie. My child is sick with RSV and I didnt know if I could make the appointment the next day. Upon speaking with Billie she told me that I could not reschedule or cancel and I would be charged if I did not show up. She proceeded to say that the ability to cancel/reschedule is at her discretion. I then told her okay. While I thought that she would be flexible because she, herself, has children, I told her okay and that I would think about my options and let her know later or the morning of if I could make it. She then told me I needed to let her know if I would cancel before I got off the phone. This caught me off guard even more because if she was getting paid either way, why couldnt I decide based on how my daughter was feeling? When I would not commit to canceling at that exact moment, she proceeded to say that she would waive the charge all together and she would cut ties with me because I dont understand her business. That was the most ridiculous thing I could have imagined I would hear her say and was offended that she would say that. Honestly, the thing that I needed to realize was that maybe this woman should not be doing my hair. When I tried to give her feedback on the lack of flexibility that she provides and how as a parent this is disappointing, especially if I was going to be okay that she charged me if I didnt show up, she then proceeded to play the victim card and mentioned that she would have to drive in for a no show and she had kids. Now the fact that she couldnt be reasonable with my situation of a sick child, she expected my sympathy about her going into the shop, not having a customer. After stating that was the most ridiculous and unaccommodating thing I have heard, I told her that I would just write a review since she didnt want my feedback over the phone. She then tried to use the black woman to black woman card. I told her race or gender was not my concern in this situation. It was a terrible business tactic and people deserve to know what happens when you may run into an issue, which happens, and you potentially cant make an appointment. Im trying to do the responsible thing and prevent you from being sick by me passing germs and to also care for my child but now Im the problem because you dont want to be inconvenienced but paid. What happened to good customer service? She wants her time and money valued, but cant do the same for her customers.
