Birth & Wellness Center of Arlington

Posting my review 10 months later as Ive had time to process everything but I feel like my pregnancy care was lacking which may or may not have led to my c section. When push came to shove I did not feel supported during labor, they pushed me off to the hospital fairly quickly. I did not develop any condition to warrant that like high bloodpressure, etc. Once I got to the hospital, they told me my baby was sunny side up and my water had not fully broken. Im wondering why my midwife never told me that? Or did they not know? Every appointment leading up to labor did they NOT check babys position correctly? I dont think so. When I was in the hospital my midwife never came to check on me either. My midwife was nice but I feel like that only gets you so far. If you need a provider that will fight to get you the birth you want I dont know about this place. It seems like you need to have the perfect conditions to birth here and if you dont youll end up paying twice for it. (You need to pre pay for this place and if you end up transferring youll pay the hospital too) Another thing I had a problem with is that I was never reimbursed for things. I had to call months after my birth because they told me they were charging me full for the facility fee and then would bill my insurance later and reimburse me the difference. When I called they told me my reimbursement was about to expire. So if I never have called they would have just pocketed the $$$ because they did contact me to let me know. ??? I really dont know about this place. Its a little shady. Sure its pretty and sells you this dream birth but when push comes to shove I dont think I would place my care in this place ever again. And if I could go back in time I would not choose to have my prenatal care here.

Leslie is the best in the game! I absolutely adore her, and I can't wait to be pregnant again so that I can experience her care once more. She is kind, patient, attentive and knowledgeable! She advocated for me when I couldn't advocate for myself! Leslie has been nothing short of a blessing to our family. I pray that every expecting mother gets the honor of experiencing care like hers. If you have the opportunity to have her as your midwife, don't pass it up! If you do, you'll regret it!

We had the most amazing experience! This was my first pregnancy, and the team eased all of our concerns and nerves. The environment was welcoming and relaxing. Meredith was personable and kept me calm at every appointment. They strived to make sure my husband and I both felt included and informed throughout the pregnancy. Payment was easy and stress free. We learned so much from the classes! Our Doula, Jaunitta, was perfect. When I went into labor, my husband and I felt prepared and fully supported. I could not have picked a better environment to give birth. This was the exact experience Id hoped for. Were so grateful for Birth & Wellness Center Arlington. If/when we have another, well be back!

When I first went to this place I felt so comfortable it makes you feel like youre home everyone is extremely nice and helpful. Meredith was the one to deliver my baby girl and Im so glad I choose to have my baby with her she was always so kind and takes the time to answer any questions you have. Having a midwife was the best decision I could of done to have my baby and for sure shell be delivering my next baby.
