A+ Barbering

Stunned!! The front sign was missing letters and falling apart. Dirty shop! Lackadaisical attitude of staff. Waited until last minute to get a haircut before an event. Googled the closest barbershop to me. Walked in and one person was getting a cut while others were setting around talking on their phones. Finally, I asked "Do you take walk-ins"? A person who was slouched out talking on his cell earphones stood up and mumbled something. I asked what he said and he says "I'll cut it". I set down in the barber chair & he draped my front. He continued mumbling his conversation on his phone. He got his clippers out and started to cut my hair. I had to stop him and tell him I wanted a scissor layer cut. I could tell my request shocked him. As he continued his mumbling phone conversation, I could tell this guy didn't have a clue what he was doing. He clipped on the back of my hair for about 2 minutes & removed my gown and said, "that will be $30. I kept my cool and asked if I could get some more of my hair removed. I literally walked him through every cut of the scissors. The whole time he was mumbling a conversation on his earphones. Finally, I gave up and asked him how much for the haircut. He said $30. His pronunciation was low and hard to understand. As I paid with my CC I noticed the total was $33. I asked why & he tried to explain but I couldn't understand his mumbling. Finally, one of the other barbers blurted out it was a credit card surcharge. I paid and walked out, turned around, went back in and asked to see his barber license. He pointed to an obvious fake document without his picture. One of the most bizarre transactions I have ever experienced. Something is wrong with this shop.

Every time I walk in for a cut its like being at right at home. Polite friendly environment. Everyone greets you! Great atmosphere to be around! Highly recommended, amazing customer service! Tony has taken amazing care of me, hes been cutting my hair for over a year, always gets me right with a fresh cut!
