The workers were leaving (2pm) and a man asked when they would be back. Their response was "not today" I understand that they are people like us but if you respond to customers like this at your job, would it be ok? These people are part of a system and that system is meant to serve us. They no doubt enjoy the stability of their position but the cost of that peace should be the expectation that even in times like this they come in to keep the system going. If we allow the people within it to choose what, when and for what reason the system is operating then what does your vote mean? I believe that the first steps to fixing what is wrong with our country are taken at a local level. Once we get local government to do as we expect then it will work to direct state and then federal government. Your taxes will come due like clock work and you are expected to pay it on time yet we are at the mercy of government institutions that choose when and how they operate. Makes no sense. When I look online and see you are open until 4 so I drive an hour and arrive at 2 I expect you to be open.
