All I can say is, if I can give this place no stars I would! I took my kids here for a few years and last year the doctor pushed to be in the room alone with my 5 year old daughter. When I refused he yelled and asked me to leave and for years he said they were just far sighted but fine. Went to Balfour Optical and found out one of my kids are legally blind and both will need glasses 24/7. That tells you how thorough they are. Edit: As you can tell by the reply from the passive aggressive professional they take offense when getting reviewed and never took responsibility for his actions and its it never okay under any profession to be alone with a child. It is a illegal medical policy. No, majority of parents dont answer for their kids or are on there phones during the exam. Im afraid your wrong when it comes to eyes because getting a second opinion on my kids eyes meant they needed to have glasses and yes one is legally blind because with glasses they still do not see 20/20. I will make my experience known to all of my community and hopes to never leave a child alone with a man like Alpar! There are big red flags

Worst customer service ever. The only helpful, polite, and cognitive person working in this facility was a lady named Gaby. The doctor, Dr. Alpar is the most passive aggressive, disrespectful and unaware eye doctor I have ever had to cooperate with. Telling a customer to shut up multiple times over the phone is completely unacceptable and should never be said to anyone by anyone in a doctor to patient/customer setting. Even in person, he is terrible to interact with. In a difficult situation, it his responsibility to be cooperative and respectful to help a customer understand and come out of a difficult situation regarding an order. However, this was not the case and Dr. Alpar was completely disrespectful over the phone. After a certain age, I think people in this position tend to lose their compassion and overall ability to properly interact with other people. Due to this, I am glad to say we will never be returning. To Gaby, Im so thankful for our conversation because you were genuinely wonderful to interact with and I hope that you get the chance to work with better doctors.

We do not recognize your name, but we apologize for your inconvenience. If we are ordering a premium product, it takes longer. I suggest you call our office and discuss the delay with our helpful and skilled optical staff.

1. The definition of legally blind is best corrected vision of 20/200 or less. If glasses correct the vision, they are not legally blind.2. Kids eyes change and can change rapidly. If what you say is true, I hope the doctors at Balfour started your children on some type of myopia control.3. No one needs glasses 24/7 because they do not need them while sleeping. 24/7 means 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.4. In my 37 years of practice, I have found children do better when the parents are not in the room talking on their phone or answering for their children. When I examine children under the age of 18, I have the parent(s) sit in the hallway, but I leave the door to the exam room open. I am glad you are happy with Balfour. They are good doctors.

There was a backorder problem with the contacts we ordered for this person's daughter. By the time her contacts were shipped to her college address, she had moved. FedEx had the package and there was nothing we could do. This person called several times yelling at my staff. The reason I took the call was because Gabby would no longer answer. I had to tell him to shut up so I could get a word in between his rants. I will not let my staff be abused by anyone. This coward actually posted under his daughter's name.
