        Wow. Beautiful Art Deco style Hotel with beautifully decorated rooms with great speakeasy and great restaurant! Rooms: Beautifully decorated rooms in art Deco style. Safety: City centre looks newly refreshed. Was pleasant to have a walk around the block. Walkability: Nice little area to walk around.

        Great Route 66 luxury hotel in downtown Amarillo. I was given a top floor room facing north, with views of downtown and well past the edge of Amarillo into the Texas Panhandle. Service was impeccable and the near-central location was convenient. The aesthetic screamed old-time Texas ranch (think XIT), which I thoroughly enjoyed. I'd been wanting to stay at the Barfield for over a year and I definitely do not regret finally making that stay.

        Historic inn owned by Marriott. Had a great dinner in their restaurant. Best salmon ever. Drinks in their speak easy bar. The waitress told us the history of it. Drinks can be a bit pricey.

        Valet, bell service great. We had salmon in the restaurant. Probably the best I have ever had. The downstairs speak easy was fun. Excellent service.
