Holiday Inn Amarillo East, an IHG Hotel

It is unfortunate that someone's truck was broken into during the night. The passenger side window was shattered, and the vehicle was parked behind the building. Despite this incident, the atmosphere is generally peaceful and quiet. The staff members were very friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast provided was satisfactory.

When I booked the reservation, I discovered the quoted rate did not include breakfast. I agreed to pay $10 more to include breakfast for my wife and me. When we went to breakfast, there were no eggs, bacon, sausage, jelly, orange juicejust to name some of the items they were out ofI suppose! Front desk clerk was of no help and refused to refund the $10. I have sent two emails to the General Manager, and he has not responded to either. I will never stay at any Holiday Inn again. Was very clean. Breakfast was great. Thank you for a great stay! Rooms: Room was very clean. They have bottles of shampoo and conditioner with locks so they aren't tampered with. Breakfast was bacon, sausage, potatoes,biscuits, and gravy. Pancakes and cereal with muffins and coffee. It was great for a motel breakfast. Food & drinks: Food is great.
