It's 2024 and they do not take digital proof of insurance nor do they have an email address that you can send digital insurance to. So maybe go to someone that realizes that it's 2024 and not 1924. What a waste of a day.

Husband had HYPYLORI found positive on an EGD biopsy. Treated us with medication not recommended as first line treatment by the American Association of Family Physicians for our area, nor did he test him for cure. Meds he gave obviously didnt work and continued having symptoms. Then tells us to go get test to see if he still has it even though my husband is taking a med prescribed to him that can cause a false negative. Very basic assessment and blah bedside manner. Dont recommend. Lazy Physician. Updated review: Not to prolong this discussion that has left you deeply shocked, but I would like to provide this final response so that people reading my review can see for themselves the recommendations of the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG). The clinical guidelines state, While choosing a treatment regimen for H. pylori Clarithyromycin triple therapy should be confined to patients where Clarithromycin resistance amongst H-Pylori isolates is low. Most patients will be better served by first-line treatment with Bismuth Quadruple Therapy. Furthermore, the literature states, Whenever H-Pylori is identified and treated, testing to prove iradication should be performed at least 4 weeks after the competion of antibiotic therapy and after PPI has been withheld 1-2 weeks. This is literature published by the ACG from 2017. The literature from the AAFP was more recent, in 2018, which is why I chose to utilize their literature. Not to mention the publishing source is from the American Journal of Gastroenterology. My husband was neither contacted or scheduled to follow up to test for cure by your office after his antibiotic therapy. Furthermore he was told to test for cure the same date of his most recent office visit, almost ONE YEAR LATER, where you knowingly schedule despite him being on a PPI. As H-Pylori being one of the 12 most critical antibiotic-resistant bacterias identified by the World Health Organization, I would assume that it would be important to test for cure after treatment with an antibiotic which has a 20% resistance rate in this area was prescribed.

Dr Thannoun and his staff are the best! They are highly professional, kind, and courteous. I had a procedure performed by Dr Thannoun a few years ago, he had at the time requested some lab work prior to my procedure. His attention to details helped diagnose a health problem that had been undetected for Lord knows how long. I have him to thank for my current health, without him my health would have been in far worse shape. I highly recommend Dr Thannoun, I trust him with my life
