I love the whole concept of affordable, drop-in as you need chiropractic. The Doc was friendly, extremely knowledgeable (over 20 years experience) and did a fantastic job. I feel great! After my adjustment i got a nice little hydro massage on their hydrobeds. So cool. I also love the clean design of the place, the location, and the cute, sweet gal who does your intake. I highly recommend NuSpine in Amarillo. Oh, and you can sign up for the maintenance program- $69/month for 4 adjustments. Seems to me to be the best deal out there!

Update: I have temporarily updated my review to 4 stars. I received a call from Desiree at the office. She expressed apologies for the confusion and stated that, if I go to the office on the 18th and sign the cancelation form, I will NOT be charged for the second month on April 18th. I asked again and clarified that I would only be charged for the first month (today) and not for the second month despite there being a 2 month minimum if I came in on April 18th to have the form signed. She verified again that I would not be charged. I will update again on April 18th, to verify if this is conversation is honored or not. The adjustment and manner of the doctor was great, I am unimpressed with the way business is handled. Dr. Bowman was friendly and professional. He did an awesome job with my first readjustment and the hydrotherapy massage after was fantastic. However, I signed up for the $69 package for 4 appointments. The staff did not notify me that this would be a recurring payment with a TWO MONTH MINIMUM. I was also told that I will have to come back in to the office to cancel the subscription I was unaware I was even signing up for. I was put at a computer to initial the "contract" I can only assume is used to justify these practices and defend from legal repercussions, though I was not given the freedom to review this contract and, instead was told to let the staff click to the next screens, I was only permitted to initial the form. I am a full time student with no additional income and no vehicle, so I am not easily able to come back to the office, and I am currently saving for a major international move later this year. I had even discussed my financial situation and my pending move and lack of income and vehicle to the staff. Not notifying the patients of these requirements when offering the packages is shady, dishonest, and morally repugnant. I was originally very pleased with my visit and was happy with Dr. Bowman. It is highly unfortunate that, after discovering this abhorrent business practice, I will not be referring anyone to this office, nor will I be returning once my package (packageS apparently) have been completed. My two stars are for Dr. Bowman, alone, the loss of the remaining three is due to the severe lack of integrity.
