Ask for MiMi!If you need a cut or color this is where you want to go! She does exactly what I want every time and has the best tips for keeping my hair healthy. She has the best personality too and it's a joy to sit and chat with her. My little girl thinks she hung the moon and calls her the best "hair trimmer" ever. MiMi is very responsive to messages and fitting me into her schedule too. I highly recommend!

Norma!I am so grateful that I was able to get a last minute appointment. I've been traveling full time and don't ever have time to sit and get my hair cut and styled.She was honest about how much hair I should cut off, recommended products and made the payment process so easy. (She takes venmo!)I'm always so nervous to cut my hair, I completely trusted her with my locks. She added so much volume, bounce and life back to my hair.Thank you Norma and Vu Ja De, I will definitely return when I'm back in Amarillo!

I recently moved to Amarillo and needed a hair cut. When you first move to a new place finding all of your new "people" can be daunting. I found Vuja on Yelp and called to make an appointment and was set up with Mimi the same day. I can not say enough about her! She took her time, listened to what I wanted but also gave her expert opinion, had great conversation, and made me feel welcomed to a new town! I love my hair cut and plan to regularly go back to her too! Fair prices and wonderful atmosphere. Can't recommend Mimi and Vuja enough!

My experience here doesn't even deserve 1 star, to be completely honest. I went in for a cut so that I could donate my hair. I specifically asked for 8 inches to be cut off, no more than 9 and showed Mimi a picture of what length I had my hair cut to previously when I had donated it. She braided my hair and cut off a 12-inch braid, which unbraided is probably about 13 inches or more and 5 inches more than I asked for. As soon as she cut it, I could tell she cut it WAY too short. When I told her that it was too short and that I couldn't even put it in a ponytail like I am required to wear for work, she made excuses saying that she wanted to make sure I had enough to donate and that my hair grows quickly and it would be fine in a couple months, and also that I could probably get away with 2 ponytails or just wear it down, which is not what I wanted because I don't want to have to wake up early to style my hair every morning. All in all, I highly regret coming to this salon and absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND, especially do not go to Mimi!! Will not be coming back, ever.
