We just closed on our new Cope home that we ABSOLUTELY LOVE!!! The Cope team sets up communications from the start giving us points of contact for all parts of the buying process and all along the way keeping us updated every week. Our house is beautiful inside and out and we couldnt be more pleased. Cope pays attention to all the details from putting in awesome high end finishes (I love my cooktop!) to building a quality home they are proud of. It was a pleasure to work with several members of the Cope team. We are ready to start enjoying relaxing evenings under the stars in our home in Nevada! We love our home we had built by Cope Homes but are more impressed by the responsiveness and devoted help we received from Michelle Cope and Jeremy Gartz. They made our experience and move-in day a huge success. Its employees like this that helped a retired Air Force Veteran and his wife enjoy purchasing and now living in their forever home...with absolutely no regrets. Thank you Michelle and Jeremy!! Edited to add: notice the reply given by the owner. Dismissing my issues as if I dont know what Im talking about and like he doesnt know the issues were far more significant than anything that could be covered in a punch list. Also note that he is bragging about currently having multiple offers for more money. Seems to me like their intentions all along were to frustrate us out of our contract because they knew they could sell it for more now with this wild market. They are not trustworthy. Cope homes basically scammed us out of our home. We signed a contract in April and were originally told a May 31st completion date on a beautiful home in Nevada Tx. It was extended almost 4 monthswhich wouldnt have been a problem but they kept extending the date roughly 2 weeks out, and a few days before that deadline they would extend it about 2 weeks out again. Made for a nightmare for us trying to rent a place especially with an infant. Also, on our last walk through a week before closing it was a disaster. Broken tiles, poorly patched walls, crooked door frames, rough wood doors just painted over. This was supposed to be 550k house. Septic was sunk in, ac unit not accessible by the inspector. THEN when we brought this to the attention of the owners, we were told they would fix a few small things but basically take it or leave it, the market has gone up $50k since you made a contract and we could fix it and sell it for more tomorrow. I have an email to prove he said exactly this. Even mentioned that if this were 2019 market this would be a very different email. When I spoke with the owner about my concerns he just talked over me and bragged about how HE lives in a MULTI multi million dollar home and knows quality They also had bizarre personal drama with our realtor. Just over all very unprofessional. We ended up having to purchase another home because there was no way that home wouldnt be a disaster very soon even if they did fix the cosmetic problems.

I contracted with Cope Homes to build our new home in July of 2020. The sales staff was very easy to work with. They have a wide variety to choose from when it comes to picking colors, carpets, countertops and fixtures. I was able to change the floorplan a little by moving walls which added square footage to the overall size. They were very helpful with the changes and upgrades I requested. They were also very responsive if I had a question or concern. There were a few small issues on the punch list and they were resolved quickly. I enjoyed working with everyone at Cope Homes. Hopefully I won't need to have another house built but if I do I would use Cope Homes again. Service: New construction services
