    The first time meeting at our vacant home went very well. Pictures were taken by a young man named Gage, who seemed very kind. He also promised we wouldn't be low balled on an offer. After agreeing on a number, we signed a contract and just needed to wait on the title company. We also gave a key for easy access to the home for contractors. That's what we were told anyways. I guess we were naive and expected honesty. When we finally got a hold of someone, we were told the price was no longer on the table because the economy, government rate and so on... we were then offered 12,000.00 dollars less or the contract would be canceled. Trying to renegotiate the price, after we had already signed a contract was terrible. They finally just stopped communicating with us and left us hanging. To this day, we still havent heard anything, meanwhile they still have their lockbox on our house and still have our key. So much for honesty. Former youth pastor, he is. As am I. My husband is a US veteran, a hard worker and an honest man. He works hard for all he has and to be treated this way is just unjustly. At this point, we pray God will intervene on our behalf. Shortly after receiving the response to this review, I went back to check my e-mails and found it in the Spam box. It is true, I did receive it almost immediately after emailing him. In the email, the situation was explained more clearly. I can even understand the reason for the a low offer. And I'm thankful the response, through email and through here. Now we can find closure to this ordeal.

Malinda, I'm so sorry for the experience you had. Unfortunately, real estate contracts are re-negotiated and cancelled quite frequently. We try our best not to, but sadly there are the occasional times where it doesn’t work out. While our original offer for your property reflected a more accurate market value of the condition and work needed, we heard the needs of you and your husband for a higher price. We tried diligently to make that higher price work, but unfortunately with the costs of materials, labor, the extensive work needed to the home, and the home’s "after repair value,” it was determined that our company would not be able to make it happen for you as we had hoped. That is why we tried to let you know we'd be unable to purchase it for the price we hoped to get you, and why we needed to be more around our original offer. When we came to this decision during our option period of the purchase agreement, we presented the options for re-negotiating the price, cancelling the contract, or listing it with a trusted realtor. We never heard back from you, in fact. According to your comment that you have not been contacted back, that is inaccurate. A prompt reply to your email on April 5th was sent just one hour after receiving your first email. We have not heard from you since then, other than this review. As mentioned, it is devastating in the times where we’re unable to make a purchase happen according to the seller’s wishes for highest price possible. However, we were sure to offer you a couple of solutions because we still want to help you sell this home for as much as possible. I am so sorry that your experience was not like those of others we’ve worked with. But to say we’ve left you high and dry is not true, as we continued to present you with other possible options, even when those options do not bring any benefit to our company. Even when we cannot be the answer or the solution, we still try diligently to provide or recommend one that will be better suited for any seller, as we did with you.
