Mr Darin helped with my bathroom remodel which involved a complete demo down to the outer wall studs and ceiling rafters and removal of a huge sunken tub. He then proceeded to frame new interior walls, rewire, and re-plumb for a new shower vanity and water closet. He did this all on his own and did an great job. He was very reliable, courteous, and professional.

Upon meeting Mr. Darren we were quite impressed with his communication, prompt service and what appeared to be knowledge about his trade so decided to hire him to complete some electrical work for us. We attempted to follow-up to get a full estimate of his hourly rate, to which he replied that he didnt like to give estimates but gave us a price for the job anyway. This should have been our first clue that maybe we should have continued our search for a qualified electrician/handyman. On the day of the scheduled job, he arrived promptly with his wife to help him. He came unprepared, did not have any of the parts he would need to finish the jobs hired to do and informed us that he would have to come back another day. He was hired to remove a ceiling fan, install a new security light outside and caulk around the fireplace flashing. Out of these three jobs, only one was done correctly, and that was the outside security light. The ceiling fan was removed after scaffolding had to be set up due to the height of our ceilings, but we realized shortly after he left that none of our lights were working in that room; apparently, he disconnected the main source and did not realize the fanlight was attached to our recessed lighting. When contacted, seemed surprised by this and was not sure why they wouldnt be working. The flashing continued to leak, to which after needing to hire a new company, we realized that he did not use the correct caulk. So to remove the ceiling fan, caulk the flashing around the chimney and install the new security lightour charge was $300.00 not including what we had to pay another company to finish these jobs correctly. After this experience, we definitely will not be utilizing or referring EDM in the future.

I had my water main come loose from the coupling at the meter, in the freezing cold, when all plumbers were covered up. EDM was able to make it out very quickly and fixed it as fast as you could ask for. They were also courteous and professional, with a reasonable price. Now my plumbers of choice.

Willing to do what ever I wanted done and did so in an efficient manner. Has great ideas on the best way to get you what you want.
