        Ordered the brisket and it was okay but was more like a slab of beef roast then brisket. Overall food was good, service was great.

        Tried out Jim Bob's BBQ after a day in the Smokies. They were very short staffed but our waitress was very nice and attentive. The food was a mix of good and bad. The pulled pork that I got was good. The best part about this restaurant was the BBQ sauces. Mild, Spicy and Hot. Although, if you ask me the Hot wasn't all that Hot but still good flavor. From there though the food was somewhat bland. My wife got the Mesquite Chicken. The rub was good but the chicken was very dry. The sides left much to be desired. The fries weren't very crispy and the green beans were unseasoned. The potato salad was decent. Considering there aren't a ton of choices in Townsend, Jim Bob's a decent choice. Just expect average to good food, but not excellent.
