Stopped in right before closing. Was wary about stopping in so close to close, staff were thrilled to have me and there was not great heres a customer right before we close attitude some of you may have experienced at other restaurants. Food was great. Staff was friendly. I order the family meal bundle. Pulled pork, slaw, Mac n Cheese, banana pudding, collard greens and green beans. Everything was delicious. Banana pudding deserves 5 stars by itself. Pork was moist and hot. Kids finished an entire large serving by themselves. I got one bite, and that one bit was delicious. Definitely not box Mac n cheese. Slaw was great. Very crispy and not soggy like some Ive had that was premade and sitting in fridge for days. Collard greens were very unique, they had a sweet, slightly Smokey flavor with a bit of spice. Ive never had collard greens with this flavor profile and it caught me off guard, yet the flavors work and even the kids enjoy it. Green beans were solid as ever. Definitely recommend this place if youre looking for some quality BBQ in the Soddy area.

We placed an order to go with manager, Beth Ables. The food was hands down good. It was home style and didn't have the "processed" feel you get with a lot of places. The staff was friendly, the wait was short, but best of all the food was great!
If you're looking for over spiced food this isn't it. It is clean and fresh. The macaroni and cheese (something I never find good most places) was not dried out and it tasted like cheese! The loaded potato salad was good. The baked beans were soft abd could maybe be a little less baked, but the taste was really good. Everything worked well. And the dessert (as you get a free dessert with the specials this week) was a kid-friendly, tasty option the family enjoyed.
They also have other items if BBQ isn't your thing.
We will definitely be back. I want to try the BBQ potato next time!!
