Front office staff was very judgemental of my children who have ADHD disability, one lady grabbed at my child to sit him down and scared him. I'm very disappointed in how the office is being ran.

My kids have been going to Smyrna Pediatrics since they were born, and Im definitely going to switch to a new clinic after our recent experiences. My kids have been sick for over a week, and when I took them, the doctor said it was allergies. I told her multiple times i do not think it is allergies, because i am sick as well. Allergies arent contagious. She dismissed my concerns and prescribed my children Zyrtec and nasal spray. Well sure enough, 4 days later I take them to a walk-in clinic and we all have Covid! Which has now spread to my 70 year old grandfather thanks to her NOT hearing me out! If i wouldve known we had Covid sooner, I wouldve quarantined us to keep my grandfather safe! Considering his age and other medical problems he is already dealing with. Any time ive taken my kids here, they dismissed my concerns. Their doctor is supposed to be Dr. Ricafort, but we havent seen her since they were newborns, although she is always in the office! I loved the nurses they had in the past, but for the past year there has been new nurses everytime we go in for a visit! Each time we go we see a new Doctor. I really dont like the inconsistency of this practice. Therefore, we will be changing doctors and i do not recommend Smyrna Pediatrics.

Giving one star simply to leave a review. Terrible experience from the start. We did not have a pediatrician lined up after birth so we were referred here by the hospital. The nurse came off very rude, however I will say she came back with a very different attitude and was incredibly kind to my son and myself. We were not sent to the original doctor we were referred to, they did not even know if we were at the correct office. Dr. Cunningham was kind, however we needed a referral to a urologist and they told us they placed the referral but never did. This was not a referral appointment that could just sit around and wait, and I should not have to call and do a job for the doctor when they said they had done it. The measurements they took of my son were also off. Im sure other people have okay experiences here, but as far as newborn care and communication this office completely dropped the ball and we wont be returning.

I truly didn't want to leave this review. My children have been going here over 7 yrs. Sadly I'm changing pediatricians. Since the most recent office move nothing has been the same. Dr ricafort is a amazing doctor and the one nurse left that's still on board is amazing. However, since moving locations... The appts, communication and front office has turned into a horrific nightmare. They are rude, unconcerned,hang up in your face and sound lost and confused. So due to these reasons and the log wait we didn't previously have to be seen. I will switching pediatrician offices.
